I'm Edith. My family began making fine jewellery in Europe in the 1930s and has never stopped. Today I take private appointments at my studio on Victoria Street, in downtown Toronto.

The Family Line

1930

First Generation

My great-grandparents establish the family workshop in Europe.

Late-1950s photo, the move to Canada, workshop or portrait.
1958

To Canada

The workshop crosses the Atlantic and begins supplying jewellers across Canada.

The parent workshop today, bench, tools, or piece mid-fabrication.

In my own words

I grew up
around the bench

My family has been making fine jewellery since the 1930s, first in Europe, then in Canada from 1958, quietly designing and manufacturing for some of this country's most respected jewellery establishments.

When I opened Victoria Fine Jewellery in 2004, I wanted to do this work the way my grandparents did it: one client, one piece, one quiet conversation at a time.

Five Quiet Steps

Bring me a photograph, a drawing, an inherited stone, or just an idea. Most pieces are finished in six to ten weeks.

We Talk

A private appointment. I listen, sketch, and answer every question.

I Design

Hand sketches into CAD renderings, refined together until right.

I Source

Stones from suppliers my family has trusted for decades.

I Make It

Wax, cast, set, finish, by hand in our family workshop.
