The hands behind every Victoria piece.

I'm the fourth generation in our family to make fine jewellery. Here's how we got here, and how it ended up on Victoria Street.

First generation

1930s · Europe

My great-grandparents open the family workshop and set the standard for everything we've made since.

Second generation

The workshop comes across the Atlantic. Our family begins designing and manufacturing for jewellers across Canada.

For decades

Our family workshop has been the quiet partner to some of Canada's most respected jewellers, for more than sixty years.

I opened the studio on Victoria Street so I could do this work face-to-face. One client, one piece, at a time.

My story

A craft I learned at the workshop table.

My family has been making fine jewellery since the 1930s, first in Europe, then in Canada from the late 1950s, supplying jewellers across the country from our family's manufacturing workshop.

I grew up around that bench. When I opened Victoria Fine Jewellery on Victoria Street in 2004, I wanted to do this work the way my grandparents did it: one client, one piece, one quiet conversation at a time.

How it works

From "I have an idea" to "It's perfect."

Bring me a photo, a drawing, an inherited stone, or just a feeling. We'll figure the rest out together. Most pieces are finished in six to ten weeks.

We talk

First visit · 1 hour

You come into the studio. We sit down, look at references, talk about your stone and setting, and answer every question, no pressure, no sales pitch.

We design

Weeks 2–3

I sketch by hand, then move into CAD. You see renderings from every angle and we refine until it feels just right.

We source

Weeks 3–4

Diamonds and coloured gems are hand-selected from trusted suppliers. You see each candidate before we commit.

We make it

Weeks 4–8

Wax model, cast in your chosen metal, set, polished, finished. Every step is hand-worked in our family workshop.

The reveal. The whole reason we do this. You walk out with something only yours, made the slow way, made to last.
